I agree with Blunty but not everything made for TV works as a film to be released in cinemas. If they'd released this as an extra long pilot on tv, it probably would've got good reviews. But because Lucas was all "money money money" and decided to put it into cinemas, it will be? reviewed as a theatrical feature film. If they'd made this a shorter simpler version of the clone wars and had the TV series the extended version, I guarantee it would've got good reviews.

The whole prequels were designd for kids. I was 16 back then? when I saw Episode 1for the first time and I still thought it was horrible and had nothing to do with Star Wars as I knew it. In the beginning I coudn't hate it and I was forcing myself to like it, but it consumed to much energy and I had to stop lie to myself and finaly admit that it was one of the most horrible movies ever made. George Lucas made with the prequels nothing more than a remake of Howard The Duck in space.

As a TV episode for teen kids who love violence Clone Wars is a fun movie. For a theatrical movie, it was not that good. The Phantom Menace was a great Star Wars film. Think about it dude...there's thousands, probably even millions of videos uploaded a day on YouTube. That's A LOT of bandwith. And all those videos' filesizes put together? I'd say quite a few terabytes, especially since some podcasts like NooBTooB upload videos that are one hour long. That's a lot of content. YouTube is at least like 50 times more popular than Newgrounds, which pays about $18,000 a month to keep running, so imagine how? much YouTube costs.

I get pissed off at the videos talking about the 'death of YouTube' or 'hulu-tube' crap... u forgot to mention the fact that partners PAY so that we can have anything we ask for for FREE (HD video uploads, annotations etc). these amazing features cost thousands (I know, I'm a web developer myself) and would be impossible without the partners' support... and having our content in a separate section is? amazing to me... so once again, THANK you...

Karl Urban nailed McCoy. I didn't like a lot of the other? main cast as much, and the direction was really confusing with too many cuts with too much action. The storyline was ok, but of course the Spock/Uhura was thrown in just for the shock value. It was well performed though, so it's nice. I like Star Trek: The Motion Picture though, so don't read too much into my rant.
